IQ tests are designed to measure problem-solving skills; this is really just a trivia quiz. I got 100%, so I don’t feel sour grapes, but it seems like the labeling is off.
I got 29 almost exclusively by guessing. Justtmissed the Texas association of realtors conference in San ANtonio and indeed have never been to Austin or Texas…
This will have to change soon.
Hey Eric! I was just in Austin for the AGDC conference. It was my first time there, and I gotta say…VERY impressed. Now…as far as my IQ score goes…improvement needed.
I missed two questions, guess i need to brush up on the basics. I think one i missed was on cap rate and i thought i had that one down packed, in fact, cap rate was the first thing i learned about real estate investing. Shame on me.
Hey,
I got a 71%. I wasn’t born and raised here. So I guess that’s not too terrible. But I did only miss about 4 or 5. I was very interested to hear that Office Space was filmed in and around Austin. I thought that was an interesting fact.
Thanks,
Grant
The Alligator Grill on South Lamar was “Chochky’s” – the restaurant where Jennifer Anniston’s character worked and had to wear all the flare. If you go in there, they have a ton of pics of filming.
Mike Judge lives in Austin. They filmed “Idiocracy” here, as well.
I’ve was there 7 years ago in Austin and I really like it their. I would not say that I am an expert, but I do like the city a lot. When I was their the prices of homes where more affordable then where I lived at the time.
I haven’t been there, but I would like to visit there soon. My friends came back from Austin and said it’s a great city for shopping and dining. Which are both two of my favorite pastime.

WAY too easy.
53%, I suck but i think i have ever been to Austin
I got a 94%. I wish there was a way to see what I missed.
@Sam – there is. On the last screen, click the “what did I miss” button.

Hey Louis! I would have liked to come down to SA for the convention. Let me know the next time you’re in Texas.
I’ll attend Tar next year and try to make a visit to Austin while I am there.

Eric:
I got 53%…..not bad for someone who has never been to Austin.
btw – You were missed at the REW conference in Nanaimo. Good times and great minds came together.
I missed everyone in Nanaimo, Vicki! Next year!
I still have to try that plug-in out! I’ve been so busy i forgot all about it!
I am 93.817263% austin lover, precisely!

I am lowering my head with a score of sixty-five percent, though in my defense I am not from Austin, so maybe its not so bad?
