Duh - I just thought of another important reason.

"You want a second home in Florida and want the flexibility and the freedom to come and go and not worry about upkeep".

Condo's are especially with high gas prices and longer commute times going to get a lot more action then in the past. I personally think if gas continues to increase in price condo's could more become the norm.

I definitely agree that a lot of traveling people should live in a condo. This way they can leave and not worry about the yard among other things.

@Bramlett- I'd agree completely with the sentiments about DP. I really like SarahK (moderator there). She's a friend. Mike Dammann also posts some stuff over there that is cool.

The problem (as you said) is the noise. Too much misinformation to go through to get to the good stuff,in my opinion.

The extras you get when buying a condo or loft can be appealing. A gym, business center, or a pool might not be something you could afford otherwise. I like #8,you need more friends!

@James - it looks like he has Lucia's Linky Love installed. I don't know what the settings are, but you can tell since it has the comment count next to each commentator.

@Michael - Yes, DP is full of lots of misinformation, and very little good information. Tons of scam artist vendors, as well. I don't go by there much at all.

With regards to the comment spammers: My settings require a first time commentator to receive approval. From there, their comments are automatically posted. I get maybe 2-5 comments/day, so it doesn't take me but a minute to look at them (I like to respond, anyways) and throw a spammer into akismet hell if they're taking advantage.

Hi Eric, I was just looking at propertyportal.ae/blog and wondering if it is really a Do-Follow blog. Not trying to be a tattle tale or anything, but just wondering.

Eric - Speaking of the spammers from digital point... I was wondering how you combat that problem since you auto post the replies and offer a dofollow link. Do you use another plug in to help you with that problem?
